Express Your Uniqueness

This week, I want to talk about our own individual & unique contribution to the world. This is a topic that's very important to me because we all have something special to bring to the world – just because we're all different. Our very existence is miraculous and sharing our gifts makes the world a much better place!

I've been studying the Spirit Junkie Masterclass and while listening to one of Gabrielle Bernstein's speech, it became obvious to me that there is nothing to be afraid of. The most natural action is the best one to take. I am not here to improve or fix myself. There's nothing to add or remove. I just need to be myself. And being is so easy that we make it complicated. How do we let go? How do we awaken? Answer: when you stop trying, silly!

It's been said countless times: follow your bliss, do what you love, & everything will fall into place. Your alignment with your essence will attract an abundant life on all levels: love, money, health, etc.

So how do you reach this state of being-ness? You can try these 3 ideas. At the very least, you'll get to know yourself a little better ;)

  1. Take a long, warm bath. Light some candles, turn off your phone (don't resist, it's worth it!) & block out at least an hour to soak in your bath. Soothing music or a good book are welcome too. Make it your sacred time and honor your body + mind. Do everything you need to feel divine + pampered.
  2. Reflect on your dreams. Start off by listing your core values, what defines you in the way to interact with the world? Are you a dyed in "green" activist? Would your life be empty without frequent travels? Then choose categories for your life (you can use Danielle LaPorte's The Desire Map categories or Nisha Moodley's North Star). Start filling in these categories with things that would be amazing to do in the next 6 months or this year. On mine, I wrote my income goal, spending a day in nature every month, going on an artist's date weekly. In total, I have 12 wishes for my life until Yule (pagan Christmas). I wrote it beautifully on a piece of paper that I keep on my daily planner and read it several times a day. This helps keep me focused on my priorities and brings me so much joy looking forward to their manifestation!
  3. Take a stance! You can learn tremendously about yourself by being confronted to others' opinions. Position yourself, evaluate their values and experiment being colorful! You are not being yourself if you let others lead your thoughts. Speak up, say no, laugh out loud, stand out! Experiment & don't be afraid to change your mind. It's all for fun!

I hope this post ignited or revived your desire to claim your uniqueness. Let's shake this planet by being fully alive!

Radiant,
Marie-Eve xo
