Be Thoughtful

We've all heard "Your thoughts create your reality" but I would also add that our thoughts create our experience. Our perspective determines how we feel about something, in addition to manifesting the events & things in our lives.

You think you're utterly incapable of doing something? That's a surefire way to feel like a looser & to sabotage your efforts in achieving it. On the contrary, you wholeheartedly believe that your plans will come to pass? Then, you already are farther along than it seems & your plans may well be realized.

I've started projecting myself in the future when I journal. I write the day that I'll have accomplished an important goal & describe every detail that I can imagine: how I feel, how's been the journey to that moment, what I congratulate myself for, how I addressed my challenges, etc. The more I can feel & believe it, the better – that means it's very much aligned with my soul & I am consciously directing my focus towards its completion.

For you, who might be new to magic or who have met resistance when practicing it, here are five tips for you:

  1. Act on your dreams;
  2. Be positive + thankful;
  3. Seek another perspective;
  4. Edit your environment to reflect your values;
  5. Be gentle on yourself.

Remember: you are responsible for your thoughts. You can always choose to make the most of a situation or to default to old habits of complaining & victimization. You're not that person. You are strong & resilient. You believe in something, remember this.
