It’s no coincidence that the new year inspires us to set fresh goals for the year ahead – Quarter 1 is just starting, Capricorn season spurs us on & days are lengthening again in the Northern hemisphere. The hype has caught on for a good reason ;) But how can we know the difference between our soul’s path & external influence? After all, we live in this world & we’re influenced by new ideas.
The secret to a thriving business is to design one that’s fulfilling + designed around your lifestyle. With fulfillment, we make sure it’s aligned with our soul’s purpose & the lifestyle part makes it harmonious, not too stressful.
To find such fulfillment + balance, there are 3 pillars that one must create in any business: initiative, expansion & meaning. When these 3 are present, they create the perfect conditions for flow + synchronicity to happen ✨
Hiring a freelancer or for a permanent position has relatively high stakes – you’ll dedicate your time & money into onboarding them, you hope the quality of their work will meet (or surpass) your standards & they need to integrate well within your current team dynamic + culture. No pressure!
If you’re consciously & consistently marketing your business + offers, you’ll eventually want to know where you’re being the most efficient in your efforts. The answer resides in your key performance indicators (KPIs). The key is to track them consistently – & make this process as easy as possible.
A lot of our lives operate within cycles & I’ve found it useful to apply the same view to creativity – if anything, it helps me understand how to best work with my creative rhythms, find peace when I need to surrender & double down on it when inspiration strikes, because I know it’ll be transient.
As we’re closing another year & preparing for a bright new one, it’s the perfect time to reflect, take stock & do a retrospective. Take the time to shine a light on the past 12 months, reveal opportunities for growth & gain wisdom as you integrate the lessons.
